History of Gorilla Zoo

Zoos are a great part for the people who wish to see animals around us and produced by nature. There are a number of zoos which also take part in hunting for the animal like gorilla to capture and to provide in public place for the interest of people. This article may light up about the history of the zoo for the consumption of the gorilla specie and the measures to prevent them from dying. The conditions of the zoos were changed drastically over the years and many new measures are taken to preserve the specie of gorilla in this world. Gorilla was not known to humankind in official manner till 1847. After 1847, a zoo at London for the first time brings in the gorillas at zoo but soon after their arrival they were all dead and the cause is mainly the long journey which disturbs the routine of animal. After this incident Zoological Department advise not to bring more gorillas at the stage.

 

One of the African gorillas was taken to the western zoos after the Second World War. After the war is over then a proper trade was started for the gorillas. There were about 56 gorillas recorded to have in America and Europe by 1954 and this ratio was increased in coming 6 years and total become 150 of gorillas in Europe and America .

They were place alone mostly in the zoo in the cages and with the food. The people are scared when they see gorillas observed by many people around zoos. People have the image of gorillas as the beast and dangerous animal and they do not think that this animal is herbivore and scared of reptiles. The peoples believe build strong because of the cages built by zoos that time.

 

Things changed after the time. There are now many zoos in Europe in which people can go visit zoos which live in a large room and now people also have a friendly relation with this animal and the misconception of beast nature of gorillas is clear in way. At all costs, zoo staff takes measures to control the gorillas if they are creating problems with public.

 

There are so many zoos built all over America and Europe which do have gorillas in a large number. There are zoos in Jersey , New York , San Diego , London , Paris and many famous parts of the world.
