Western gorillas are great apes which belong to the family of taxonomic. The taxonomic family is divided in four extant which are normally chimpanzees, humans, gorillas and orangutans. Among the gorillas, the western gorillas are more populous species of genus gorillas which are founded in the world. Most of the taxonomic families members are belong to these Western Lowland Gorilla sub species and this sub specie mostly live in montane, secondary and primary forests. The results had proved that the individual species found of this animal are about 0.35 million by the research of August, 2009. Other species of the western gorillas are very rarely founded and it is proved from research of 2009 that only about 300 western gorillas are present in which Cross River Gorilla is also included. Cross river gorillas mostly live in the areas tropical and subtropical regions of Nigeria and Cameroon . So this gives the result that mainly Western Lowland Gorilla is founded in the specie of Western Gorillas.
